Trainee/ Graduate Health & Safety Advisor required to join for the delivery of Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Trainee Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Advisor will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Head of HSQE. Traditionally these are negotiated projects for key clients with a good pipeline of future works in the area.

Reporting to the visiting Health & Safety Manager and working with Site Managers and Project Managers, you will be responsible for driving Health & Safety across their projects.

This Trainee/ Graduate Health & Safety Advisor role will involve regular client liaison, construction methodology, monitoring of health and safety standards, risk assessments, method statements, quality control, identifying and mitigating potential risks, issue resolution and ensuring best practice is followed.

This Trainee/ Graduate Health & Safety Advisor role is with a busy regional South Coast based main contractor group, with a turnover in excess of £45m, and secured workload in the health care, education, leisure & industrial schemes in across the South Coast.

Projects range in size from the smaller £500K up the £900m in value. This is an ideal opportunity for a Trainee/ Graduate Health & Safety advisor looking to grow and develop working regionally.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will be a recently qualified with a NEBOSH certificate or relevant construction degree.
